Pogba makes ‘beautiful’ Mecca pilgrimage to say thank you for Man United season

After a long season of ups and downs – including lifting the Europa League trophy – the Frenchman is on a journey to give thanks Paul Pogba is visiting Islam’s holiest city, Mecca, to pray, offer his appreciation for a successful season with Manchester United and mark the beginning of Ramadan. The Frenchman was struck by personal tragedy earlier this month when his father passed away.
